Thanks for the tip on the Miracle Masks, I have been wanting to build a Grey Nurse Spitfire ever since the Tamiya kit came out, and have been trying to get some masks from Ian at Ad Astra for one for over a year now. A pair of Grey Nurses from No. 457 Squadron photographed during a mission from Morotai, sometime during 1945. Nearest to the camera is ZP-Z, a Spitfire HF Mk. VIII, serial no. A58-627 and ex-RAF serial MV117. Delivered to Australia in December 1944, this aircraft survived the war and was eventually struck off charge in November 1948.
